Carpet repair, relaying and stretching

What do you do when normal wear and tear begins to take its toll on your carpet, or occasional accidents cause damage to face yarns or backings? Carpet repairs and carpet stretching may be needed for different reasons. The most general problem with carpets is that they do stretch over time, causing bumps to appear- which could be corrected by a re stretching process.

Holes, iron burns, cigarette burns, tears, split seams and damage caused by partitions and walls being removed are all carpet problems which can be repaired by a professional technician. The repair method may be as simple as cutting out the affected area and replace the section with a new piece of carpet or a piece from another area e.g. Built in wardrobe etc.

So if you are not looking at buying a new carpet and throwing out an old one, please contact a qualified carpet technician here for advice on carpet repair and re-stretching.
